The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. Much better than I thought, based on some of the negative reviews. It’s so good that I binged the first two seasons in one long weekend. I can’t wait for season three to come out. It’s a great premise for a show that shares some similarities to shows like Lost and Wayward Pines, but is different enough that it doesn’t feel like I’m watching the same show. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes horror/mystery series with a bit of gore. A very enjoyable and entertaining watch. I just hope they get more seasons, or at least enough to answer all my questions. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
