Uncover the mystery of a town in the central United States that imprisons anyone who enters. Check out the list of renewals and cancellations to see if your favorite show has made it. A town set was built especially for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and a mock town was built on them. When Boyd enters the remote forest, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope has been lowered onto him. When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only one in the room, pinned against the wall. Martin did not drop the rope. Much better than I thought, based on some of the negative reviews. It’s so good that I binged the first two seasons in one long weekend. I can’t wait for season three to come out. It’s a great premise for a show that shares some similarities to shows like Lost and Wayward Pines, but is different enough that it doesn’t feel like I’m watching the same show. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes horror/mystery series with a bit of gore. A very enjoyable and entertaining watch. I just hope they get more seasons, or at least enough to answer all my questions. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
