Narrative
Unravel the mystery of a town in the central United States that captures everyone who enters. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained apartments, a meeting house, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc.
A rope is dropped down to him
(all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of the nearby military base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved streets and driveways were left, and a fake town was built on them. When Boyd steps into a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.
Martin did not throw down the rope

A pleasant surprise
The preview looked like a mix of several different shows, including Wayward Pines, Lost, and a bit of Under the Dome. I expected it to have a vague story when I saw that it was produced by the same creators as Lost, but it has a solid story and the characters are likable. While it’s not perfect, it has suspense and is good enough to keep me hooked.
